CHAMBER STAFF MEMBERS

The day-to-day operations of the Bainbridge-Decatur County Chamber of Commerce are handled by a highly qualified and experienced staff. Without these dedicated individuals and the professional management, administrative, and communication skills that they possess, our Chamber would not be nearly as strong an organization as it is.
Charles Tyson, Interim, President
The President of the Bainbridge-Decatur Chamber of Commerce. The President also serves as Secretary/Treasurer of the Chamber. The President is responsible for executing the directives and wishes of the Governing Board of Directors and Officers. The President ensures that all Chamber activities remain focused and in-line with the Chamber's overall mission. All planning, organization, and execution of events, promotions, marketing, and meetings, ultimately originate with, and are overseen by, the office while fulfilling the role of President. Management of Chamber budgetary items are handled as part of the president Secretary/Treasurer duties.
The President will be qualified and respected in the community, making an ideal person to fill this role. The professionalism, dedication, and level of respect from peers and the community in general help open doors to the Chamber, that might not be possible otherwise.
Diane Strickland, Membership Manager
Diane Strickland is responsible for membership and finances. Diane maintains a membership database, ensuring that the Chamber maintains high retention of existing members as well as encouraging growth by inviting and accepting new members (businesses and individuals). Effective membership management is a vital responsibility since the Bainbridge-Decatur County Chamber of Commerce is constantly looking outward toward growth and expansion as our local community does the same.
Diane's duties also include oversight of the Chamber's finances. Her attention to detail, knowledge, and experience in these matters makes her a valuable asset to the Chamber.
Diane also conducts research for the Bainbridge-Decatur County Chamber of Commerce itself, especially as members of the Ga Chambers of Commerce and the U.S. Chambers of Commerce.
Adrienne Harrison, Special Events Coordinator
Adrienne Harrison is directly involved in all special events for the Chamber of Commerce, including research, marketing, organization, and overall management of the projects. Her attention to detail in handling each event is a direct reflection of the Chamber's efforts of maintaining a strong presence within our local community and regionally as well
Michelle Haire, Administrative Assistant
Michelle Haire is usually the first voice you will hear when calling the Bainbridge-Decatur County Chamber of Commerce. The friendliness and professionalism in her voice is indicative of the way she handles her duties. Michelle handles an unlimited variety of duties on a daily basis, including public relations (phones, emails, etc.), registrations, recording of all minutes from all Chamber meetings, and event and meeting scheduling. Michelle is also responsible for publishing media notifications for Chamber-related events.
Michelle is often the person that will assist in pointing you in the right direction when you're searching for information, businesses, or individuals. She also supplies data and information as requested, ensuring that specific needs are accurately met on a case by case basis.
Michelle sends out Welcome Packets and Relocation Packages all over the United States on a constant basis, meaning the she is normally the origin for information for new contacts and/or prospective businesses and individuals looking to relocate to our area.
