DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY OF BAINBRIDGE AND DECATUR COUNTY

The mission of the Development Authority of Bainbridge and Decatur County is to provide leadership that produces sound economic development while enhancing the quality of life for the citizens of Southwest Georgia. While the Southeastern United States is increasingly becoming a very favorable geographical area for new businesses, both large and small, industrial development is a very competitive market.

The Development Authority of Bainbridge & Decatur County was established in order to ensure that there was always an active, coordinated, and focused effort to attract desirable businesses to the Bainbridge and Decatur County area. Through strong, stable leadership from a very knowledgeable Board of Directors, the Development Authority stays true to its primary purpose supplying perspective businesses with the information necessary for them to make the proper decisions on locating their business.

Through a close relationship with Decatur County government, the City of Bainbridge, and the Bainbridge-Decatur County Chamber of Commerce, the Development Authority is constantly working to attract businesses, both large and small, to our area by advertising the strengths and incentives that the area has to offer.

There is a lot of work that goes on behind the scenes to attract serious business prospects to any area. Residents of Bainbridge and Decatur County should feel proud and blessed to have such a professionally run organization operating on the behalf of, and for the long-term benefit of, the citizens and residents of Decatur County.
